Crosstown Jazz

Music is more than a job, a hobby, or a business; it's a passion. I love what I do, and it enhances my enjoyment of performing when you love it too!

My first memory of playing music was in our basement in Indiana with my dad on guitar, my sister singing and me on maracas playing Girl From Ipanema.

Jazz has always been in my blood. In order to get into the jazz band in high school I took up the tenor saxophone, which eventually led to my receiving my Bachelor of Music in Woodwind Performance (flute major) from DePauw University in Indiana.

I've been fortunate to be able to hone my performance skills over the years by playing
with some fantastic musicians in a variety of groups; 19 piece big bands down to combos of 2 - 7 pieces, and as a soloist.
